Stop Motion Video – Two Little Sheep Go On A Big Adventure

Me and my lovely wife have been working on a big project – our first stop motion video! It took a lot of planning and a bit of learning, and a re-shoot because it wasn’t quite right, but we finally have this amazing video to show you!

Can’t wait any longer to see it? Okay here it is!

So cute right? If you want to meet the stars of the show go here to check them out ^_^

My shop has been having a major overhaul recently as I was getting ready to enter the UK Etsy Awards! Exciting but scary stuff.
I will be posting new items here when I get chance, but if you can’t wait make sure you like my Facebook Page as I’ll be posting them there first!

Lovely to see you today!

Hat Commission – Poppy The Dog

At the end of last year I had 2 hat commissions, one for a dog and one for a penguin! I’ll leave the penguin reveal for another day, today I am going to show you Poppy the dog!
The lady who commissioned it wanted a hat that looked like her dog Poppy, who is a beautiful beagle. Here are the pictures!

She has big floppy ears and a squishy 3d nose

And giant fluffy pom-poms! (Honestly, they’re massive!)

This was a really fun commission! It is completely my own design, and it was really fun creating it around someone’s pet :)

What do you think?

Mother and Baby Spring Sheep

The newest edition to my shop are these adorable spring sheep! They are cute and fluffy, and perfect for Mother’s Day!

Mummy sheep measures 5.5cm high and 9.5cm long, and baby sheep measures a cute 4cm high and 6.5cm long!

Along with mother’s day they would make great gifts for many occasions, including birthday’s, new parents, random gifts, or just to make you smile!
They would also be a great for children to play with, and would look great in a farmyard or toy set!

Go here to see them, or click on one of the pictures!

Crochet Mice!

Recently my mum asked me to make her a little brown mouse from the nursery rhyme ‘Little Mousey Brown’

Little crocheted brown mouse
I posted a few pictures on facebook from patterns I’d found on Ravelry for her to choose from, and she decided she wanted a little purple one too from a different pattern! 3 other friends wanted one too so I now have a little family of mice to make!! (Apparently a group of mice is called a family, I never knew that!)
I’ve just finished the purple one and I’ve made a little lime green one too, but don’t have pictures yet. I’ll show you some pictures soon!
Here’s the link to the pattern for this one :)

Cheeky Monkey

I made this cute little monkey as a gift for someone, isn’t he adorable? He didn’t turn out like the pattern though which was disappointing, and he was meant to have a felt face but it just didn’t look right! He still looks cute though so all is well ;)

His tail has wire in so it is adjustable, and I had to dye the cheeks pink as I only had white felt, thankfully it turned out well! His belly is made out of heart-shaped felt which I thought was a nice touch. I found the bananas fun to make :) Although until they were sewn together they didn’t look much like bananas!

Its so nice to be back blogging! I’ll be back tomorrow with Etsy Finds Friday :)

Thanks for visiting! Sam xx

In Dedication To The Lost Baby Hamsters

It has been a sad time. Over the past few weeks a blogging friend of mine lost 13 baby hamsters due to liver disease. It was really hard for her and she has been so so strong.

Baby Jeeves and Monty, the last babies R.I.P

I wanted to do something to commemorate them, so decided to make a little hamster! This hamster represents all of them, so instead of choosing one of the names given to the babies I have decided to name him ‘Hammy’.
I decided it would be nice to include my pet mice in the picture playing with hammy :) I haven’t had chance to introduce my lovely mice to my blog yet, so this is also their introduction post!

Meet Hammy, Strawberry and Chocolate! Strawberry is the grey mouse and chocolate is the brown one :) They are both female, and are around 1 year old. Strawberry was originally white and cream, but around Christmas she began turning grey. We were really worried when the first grey patch appeared, but it turned out she was just changing colour! There was nothing online about it though, so it can’t be very common. Some time soon I will post a picture of when she was a baby so you can see the difference!

They we’re both so excited to meet Hammy, it was hard to get a picture of them sitting still! That’s where the treat of  Bran Flake’s came in – They loved them!

If you want to pay your respects to the lost little babies and have a look at the gorgeous real hamsters Eve and Dexter instead of looking at my crochet one, go to the lovely Hamster Diaries blog.

As I had this post to share I will be doing my Etsy Finds tomorrow instead of today like usual, so come back tomorrow to check out the lovely finds :)

Thank you for visiting today
