Woohoo! I am finally releasing my first amigurumi pattern! I have designed many patterns, but this is the first one I’ve released so I’m very excited!
You can find this pattern HERE on Ravelry!
This is an interactive baby toy that rattles and crinkles! It’s a full step-by-step photo and written pattern, including how to make all the components to make it rattle and crinkle.
The pattern uses basic crochet stitches worked in a continuous spiral. The components to make it rattle and crinkle are quite simple and you can use things from around the house.
Tension isn’t hugely important, but make sure there is no holes between stitches so you can’t see the stuffing, especially as this is a baby toy.
It only uses a small amount of yarn so would be great to use up odd ends!
Finished size – around 7cm/3 inches, not including the hair
Hope you love it as much as I do! ^_^
Recently my mum asked me to make her a little brown mouse from the nursery rhyme ‘Little Mousey Brown’
I posted a few pictures on facebook from patterns I’d found on Ravelry for her to choose from, and she decided she wanted a little purple one too from a different pattern! 3 other friends wanted one too so I now have a little family of mice to make!! (Apparently a group of mice is called a family, I never knew that!)
I’ve just finished the purple one and I’ve made a little lime green one too, but don’t have pictures yet. I’ll show you some pictures soon!
Here’s the link to the pattern for this one :)
This was meant to be posted yesterday, but wordpress was playing up! It wouldn’t upload any pictures, then when I went to add a link it refreshed and I lost everything! So I’m trying again….
Remember this post? Well here’s my finished granny square tissue box cosy!
I love it! You can find the pattern on Ravelry. It was easy to follow and I am really happy with how it turned out :) All I had to differently was adjust it to the tissue boxes we buy. Look at the pretty trim:
Although I have had one problem… When we bought a new box of tissues we found that they have changed the box sizes!! :( Not sure what we will do!
Hope your all enjoying this lovely sunshine we’ve finally been given!
I made this shawl because I really wanted something to wear on summer evenings when it has become a little chilly!
I love the colour, and its got such a lovely drape
And it was so fun to crochet! I loved watching the colour changing as I went along, and it is so lovely to wear!
The pattern can be found on Ravelry here for free!
In other news, we are in the process of moving home so I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to be online over the next few weeks. Hopefully I’ll be updating and checking things every few days though :)
Hope your all having a lovely weekend! <3
